Nothing to see here...

The Commons Leader dismissed the growing pressure on the Government over its testing shambles as he claimed the system had been a 'phenomenal success' which should be celebrated.

Meanwhile, official NHS Test and Trace statistics showed that just 33.3 per cent of people who were tested for Covid-19 in England in the week ending September 9 and had a so-called 'in-person' test received their result within 24 hours. That represents a massive decrease on the 66.5 per cent recorded in the previous week.

People should stop moaning about not being able to get tested or having to travel daft distances, and celebrate the Govts massive success.

****ing tax dodging inbred ghoul.

Test as much as possible, enforce lockdowns properly. You cannot deny their success compared to us.
Are you blaming Boris for the idiots going to the beach and the idiots attending the BLM protests? Lol

Boris is doing a cracking job. He’s even prepared to break international law to look after his own. That’s real leadership.

We needed tougher restrictions for any people gathering in large numbers. Sometimes you have to go in hard!

After Cummings, it all went tits up tho.

Put me in charge Pompey, I will rule with an iron fist...

1. Anyone out after 10pm shot on sight.
2. Any groups breaking the 6 rule, police will randomly shoot people until the number is reduced back to 6.
3. Anyone not wearing a mask, will have their gob filled with cotton wool and a whole real of masking tape to bind it in place.
4. Anyone seen coughing or sneezing in public will be exterminated, with Daleks stationed in every town centre.
5. Any raves will be attacked with the Novichok nerve agent.

Now have I missed anything?

.

Sneezing part is harsh. That's nothing to do with covid.

Cummings isn’t part of the government. He’s just an advisor. Pretty desperate to try and blame it all on him <laugh>

It was more the government giving Cummings the all clear to do what he wants.

Other than how's things saffy. Rare outing from you.

Hope all is well and this lockdown coming didn't affect you and skyes? Walkies.

Hello mate, lockdown doesn’t really affect me and Skye. There’s plenty of walking space to get out and about whenever we want. I’ve just had a bid accepted on a property in the next village along so me and my brother are going to get stuck into that once it completes because he’s been told he’s back working from home starting the 28th of this month.

I mainly post on the Sunderland board, now. It’s a pleasure to see you about as always. Hope you’re keeping well, mate.

If you stop carping about it, Rees Mogg will allow you to stand outside the gates of his wife's castle when this is all over. Just close enough to see him inside counting all the money he's made off the back of the crisis.

And the amount of labs capable of doing the tests, who's fault is that?

We need to get people back to work as a number one priority, i was furloughed for 8 weeks because custom fell off, when called back i didn't take (or ask for) a test because i had no reason to.
If you have no symptoms then don't waste resources (and peoples time) by going for tests.

I agree in the sense that human beings have a tendency to overreact to a situation, however, this is something that was promoted by the government.

I've had one test, but that was done by the hospital prior to me going in hospital, so several valid reasons there, why the test had to be done. One of the questions you get is have you had a cough, I say everytime, yes, but it is nothing to do with covid, it's to do with my medication. So then you get multiple questions about that cough...I'm like look I know my own body, it's not covid ffs.

The point being, we have scared people into getting tests. Everyone should know their own contacts, but the problem is they won't if they attend busy gatherings, such as bars, promoted I hasten to add by the governing powers, so the public are then shooting themselves in the foot, by becoming complacent.

As I see it the only other way you wouldn't know your contacts, is if people are using public transport (or work for PT), other than what I've mentioned about. Again the government stoked the fire, by insisting people get back to the office to protect the wealthy people that own the office spaces. So we have a double whammy, incompetence on part of the government and thick human beings.

Wash your hands, wear your face mask, keep 2M distance, don't attend crowded events, make sure you know your contacts, ensure your contacts are following the same rules as you....there is nothing difficult about this....oh and ignore the government <whistle>

that's great to hear. i heard properties going fast everywhere, all the city people moving out and apparantly loads of people from hong kong are snapping up places as well (unfortunately half of them are investors which means pushing up prices, another convo for another day but i don't think it's right) but think its mainly around manchester and midlands so hopefully doesn't affect you guys too much.

lol, i was told the sunderland board is crap (okay it was comm), maybe i will need to pop by for a visit.

keep well and stay safe
