We do something similar ... try it with a small amount of grated nutmeg or cumin (or both) stirred in while mashing ... but take care not to overpower
Another favourite of mine is cauliflower done the Welsh way ... they tend to leave more of the green leaves on in Wales ... basically boil the whole caulk leaves and all ... drain but keep on the heat ... then chop up fine and stir in butter and black pepper ... really lovely
Blimey I'd forgotten all about the leaves on a cauli. I used to like leaving on the younger leaves, basically the ones on the inside closest to the heart. Sometimes I use aromat in the mash.
Hopefully this won't kill off too many in the UK and will be over soon but it has made me revaluate life a little. What can we do once this is all over though?
Right now I have more time but that stops if everything goes back to normal. No more going for walks every day and spending more time with family as I won't have time again.
It seems to me that the government and big business need to make changes so that we can all live better lives. Change to a 4 day week or 4.5 give people that extra time, look at working from home it'll give people a better work life balance and it's environmentally friendly.
Look at flexible working hours and not the fake ones we have now but hours that actually help families.
There's a lot to consider and as this comes to an end I really hope there is serious thought into the way the country works.

Last I heard this isn't happening. More likely that the paperwork for deaths on Sunday wasn't actioned until Monday imo.

It’s also not Trump’s fault, no matter how you wanna spin it.
We will all get consumed in the capitalist YOLO attitude of living this country has become renowned for once it all settles.
Back to boasting about bigger n better n louder giving centre stage to no marks off the telly...lauding them as role models for our kids.
