Funny when I first saw the pic, I wasn't even thinking of two metres, my first thoughts were all ageing MEN, and white. All they need is fooking white hoods and the two metres wouldn't matter.
I’ve got 8 guys in my small company. Our work has slowly dried up but will be enough to keep 2 of them going.
We all sat down and agreed who would be furloughed and who would carry out essential works in the meantime. All done very amicably, I barely had to say a word.
Luckily we are in a position to keep all wages the same, but could probably only guarantee that for a couple of months.
If anything, this whole thing has made me value my lads even more, and I genuinely believe we will come back stronger.

I am starting to wonder if Trump is an undercover genius. I mean **** he's gone deep undercover if he is, but maybe, just maybe he is actually a hero. It's probably no coincidence that this virus started in China. But this is bigger than any one country imo. It's about all of us. Who is buying the cheap **** they are dumping on the market?
Trump can never be part of the solution imo. He is a walking incarnation of the problem; he lives in a gold tower ffs, all he knows or values is money.
It hasn’t . It has however affected my 4 cousins and quite a lot of their children . Very little job security , poverty worse than quite a few of them can remember in a long time . Not all though , some think he is great . They are quite happy in wealthy retirement . For most of my relatives and off spring though , he is not doing them any good whatsoever ever .
Wealthier cousins are in and around Rockford Illinois and Milwaukee .
poorer are in Arkansas .
People are right when they say we will see worse than this , asteroid strikes etc .
but right here right now I agree we are a Virus . Take a look at what humanity has done to this planet

There was some items needed using up in the fridge so;
I just had a lovely four egg omelette with a couple of large sliced tomatoes, eggs pass their best before date and Tom's just starting to turn. Tonight it will be some beautiful carrot and potato mash on the menu - carrots don't keep long. Why those two meals, because it avoids waste and nothing gets thrown in the bin. Large pan, boil them together, salted, buttered and mashed. Some of it kept in fridge for frying another day. Could add onion but probably won't.
I would definitely put some onion in when doing the refry - and a couple of teaspoons of mustard
We do something similar ... try it with a small amount of grated nutmeg or cumin (or both) stirred in while mashing ... but take care not to overpower
Another favourite of mine is cauliflower done the Welsh way ... they tend to leave more of the green leaves on in Wales ... basically boil the whole cauli leaves and all ... drain but keep on the heat ... then chop up fine and stir in butter and black pepper ... really lovely
