Both Truss and Sunak are playing to that mantra to the tory membership as immigrants and winning the GE are highest on their agenda. Meanwhile the cost of living crisis is highest priority for everyone else. Go figure. Add to that, most tory members wish Bojo had never been ousted whilst at the same time wanting their next leader to have honesty and integrity. Not a confused bunch at all obviously.

Btw Sunak was never getting the majority vote out in the shires. The house slave should know his place after all

Don’t be a mug all your life. Can’t pay, won’t pay.
One million people hit with a £10 late payment charge. Nice little money spinner for the energy companies. Folk already struggling lumped with extra debt and bigger bills.

You are a selfish bastard. As long as you can afford to make your payment when the time comes, though, Jack.

Surely if people want to do a proper protest, rather than taking the easy option, that actually helps no one, instead of canx the dd, just don't use the gas and electric supply, know what it feels like to be one of the least well off. They won't do that though, because it's all hollow gestures. If you can't sell it, you can't make profit from it. Then at Christmas while I'm snug around my nice log fire, Christmas tree in full lighted bloom, I can look across the road, and laugh at the piskies and archers of this world, protesting by candlelight. :cheesy:

That's some twisted logic from you there, Tory boy. How the **** are people who can't afford to pay their bills already, going to be made worse off by a national campaign to make bills affordable?

The problem here is profiteering energy companies, enabled by the most corrupt, uncaring piss-take of a government in living memory. The problem is not a national campaign to resist the profiteers. Only a Tory so used to lies he's lost all sense of the truth, could come up with a desperate line like that.

Back to the lies....how many more illnesses or deaths were put down to covid only for that information to be completely false.....remember tobes banking me for asking for actual proof of haigs death rather than a news article that needed the story line narrative.

I've explained it.

They're made worse off with the late payment charge. That's an extra on their bill. I'd imagine many people in poverty aren't good at managing budgets and you guys are expecting them to hold money back from a bill and not dip into it.

I really don't think it's the best thought out.
