So what about the 2 million customers that have a charge card, what about the millions of customers that pay via their landord, what about folk who pay by management companies, actually the list just goes. So let's have a quick google search.....here it is...it equates to 56% of customers who pay by DD, so what about the other 44% can they be excused please sir for not standing in solidarity?

    Copied from google, dated 2019:
Direct debit is one of the quickest and easiest ways to pay energy bills. Over 56 per cent of customers pay their energy bills in this way and your supplier may offer a discount if you pay by this method. Ofgem wants you to understand how to get the best out of paying by direct debit.

The trouble is with a lot of actions by people, they are nothing more than mere hollow gestures to make themselves feel good, but actually do nothing for the least well off. Imagine going on strike, but you can actually afford the cost of living, so who are you actually helping, because all the other strikers are earning the same as you, or maybe even more.

I look around on here, I see hard working ppl, who go on holiday, they can afford a beer, no problem affording food, buy themselves little luxuries, whether its a new car or a new bike, maybe a new house. But I return to my point, does the striking help those least well off, does refusing to pay a DD help the least well off or will it from a positive outcome, will all this complaining help the least well off....the answer to all of that, quite simply is NO!

It's like some guy complaining about living in the poorest region of the country, then splashing thousands on a pushbike, yet being the biggest campaigner on here. Something is seriously wrong with our materialistic society, and that's nothing to do with the Tories or Labour, all they need is a nice big mirror in the room.

You clearly don't know much about the British workers history very well.......the conditions we have today are not through the good gesture from companies it was forced upon them by conditions brought about by industrial action.

Now I'd be very shocked if you or you family have never benefited from atleast one of these conditions......a 5 day week being just one of the

Mate, no one was complaining when as a member of the EU, we were paying lorry drivers and farm hands less than the minimum wage. Why were they not complaining, because their food prices were cheap as a result, people only care about principles when it's convenient to do so. I'm not getting at you by the way, I'm generally speaking. People look at price, they don't look at what got it to their table, nor do they care. Maybe I'm wrong, but I have a very low opinion of humans as a whole...you want milk?....let's rip the calf from the mother, then sell it as veal, then artificially impregnate the mother again, to keep the production line going....ppl do not care, they just want it on their table.

It's why the education system sucks.....its all pro capitalism.......what it doesn't tell you is how your food gets to the plate and how cheap goods are only cheap because some **** is getting fkd over for it.......but a capitalist indoctrination system will not have an interest in the morals of life would they.

The whole party is in a mess and in its current state no threat to

Andy Burnham is the answer to Labour's troubles and to make them electable in my opinion. But why would he give up his position now with the state they are in. Even if the opposition is in such a state.

It really is incredible. Just when you think the calibre of the fckwits in charge cannot sink any lower, we have an incompetent buffoon looking likely to take charge.

The reason is self-evident though. 12 years of austerity, and using this to peddle the narrative through a paid for media of it being the poor and foregners to blame for it all instead of the bankers and corrupt corporates who line the Tory and media pockets. Causing division and hate and using this to mug off the gullible AND the vulnerable to vote for Brexit, all once again to serve the interests of the Tory party AND as a result creating a divided and polarised society where there are actually ppl who've tied themselves to the mast of these machievelian ****s to such an extent that they'll still defend and/or accept lying, corrupt, incompetent charlatans to lead the country over any alternative.

Having said that, the tide is turning. Whilst there'll always be dyed in the wool blinkered supporters who will never change, the recent by-elections have shown (as have many polls) that people see the mendacity and false promises over the past two years as no different to those spouted by many in the Tory party about Brexit and are willing to take an objective view and vote Libdem or Labour.

As they say, you can fool some of the ppl all of the time (and we know they exist), you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the ppl all of the time <----- and the vast majority of good folk in this country belong to this last bracket, so I remain hopeful of when we all get a say in a couple of years, not just the 190,000 dickheads voting this clueless twat into office <ok>

Mohammed said near the end of times authority will be given to the ignorant as society declines in its morals and standards.

I can tick that one off the checklist now as has been proven correct

Do you vote tory by default or do you vote based on policies and ****?

I would hope it not the 1st one. Cos that sounds a tad flag shaggy to me.

Both Truss and Sunak are playing to that mantra to the tory membership as immigrants and winning the GE are highest on their agenda. Meanwhile the cost of living crisis is highest priority for everyone else. Go figure. Add to that, most tory members wish Bojo had never been ousted whilst at the same time wanting their next leader to have honesty and integrity. Not a confused bunch at all obviously.

Btw Sunak was never getting the majority vote out in the shires. The house slave should know his place after all.
