that refers to the acute beds not the general wards .

It refers to both, neither you nor Brb can read.

the sharp drop in admissions being the actual context of my argument that you seem to always leave out seeing as I am talking about empty hospitals (not literally empty as in 0 ppl, but WAY below normal levels) and many died as a result. Humanity vs forum points, you're broken humans, you and brb
"Follow major efforts to discharge patients, and sharp drop in admissions."

The self interest of some people is disgusting and them trying to play it off as virtue, is vile

Real suffering and death = meh

Imagined future suffering = yay

Real suffering and death caused by imagined future suffering = yay

Cancer patients will die because Government 'scaremongering' over Covid-19 stopped people visiting hospitals during the crisis, NHS nurse says

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ngering-Covid-19-stopped-hospital-visits.html
umm being scared of Covid in UK hospitals seems fairly reasonable

Probable Hospital Acquired infections in England remain persistently high: currently, 17.6% of COVID-19 infections fit the NHS England definition of probable healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs). These rates have been as high as 25% in the North West and continue to climb in the North East and Yorkshire..

Yet cigarettes are legally sold

COVID nowhere near that, not even close, and the country is being destroyed and people suffering and dying.

When put into context, these lockdowns are ****ing insane

If its really all about insane measures to save lives, then.. 400k a year deaths, that;s a lot, where are the insane measures to save 400k people every year and enormous costs to the NHS treating smokers

The average death age of a smoker is much lower than the average age of a COVID death.

Where's the panic over smoking?

EDIT: Wrong, not UK numbers, I made a balls of that.

Why is the shadow chancellor always so angry, she seems a right bundle of fun.

Where did you get this table from?

400k people do not die through smoking every year in the U.K.

smoking is rapidly reducing here but smokers are really doing a public service as tobacco tax raised £12 bn in 2016 plus by dying earlier than normal they save on pensions and benefits
