Sadly dementia is very soul destroying to all the siblings and they will react to it all in different ways, with the best of intentions (we would hope), but someone has to make whatever decision (health) is best for mum/grandma, that may not fit our social norms, but the very nature of dementia is very cruel.

Yeah, it's terrible. Soul destroying stuff at the best of times, nevermind when you're being kept apart for months. Tough situation.

I would have thought that the vast majority of cancer treatment was moved to private hospitals. Treatments and scans have definitely been missed mind, though most of that would have been patients choosing not to attend.

It's undiagnosed cancers where the big issues lie. Think the last estimate I read was 350,000 fewer people than normal referred for urgent treatment since March.

My throat is stinging (no cough) and I've been really hot and clammy all day without the heating on, which isn't usually the case in this house at this time of year. Reckon I've got this years flu or 'it'?
 
The government is encouraging you to report your neighbours if they don’t follow the new rules. Before following this advice you should really consider the fact the government won’t be there to help you jump start your car or lend you tools or a cup of sugar if you needed it. They won’t be an extra set of eyes to watch over your property if you are away. They won’t keep an eye on your kids if they are playing in the street and someone strange is hanging around. We need each other, it’s how we get by and live in peace, because at the end of the day the government won’t be standing on your door step to help you out when this gets real.
