Facemasks to be compulsory in shops from July 24th.

Quite why this takes 10 days notice I’ve no idea, but this is guaranteed to generate fume.

Indeed. I’ve no issue with it, but it’s like being told to stick on a rubber after you’ve been spaffing yer wad up the entire street for the previous 4 months.

Most off S.E Asia wear then, look at their rates.

How long has it been since we've been into a shop other than a supermarket or grocers? I've not missed it at all and I doubt I'll be going into one unless I really have to.

So what about wearing masks in other places? What's the law on that or are we ok to go into cinemas, gyms, hospitals, places of work without one on?

Whole thing seems a daft approach tbh.

I've been into Aldi twice during this whole time...I just been shopping as i need locally.

For me, they have to come out and say all or nothing....

Don't know how they work if you have a beard etc..

The irony is that they cant protect you from someone who has the virus, they can only reduce the odds on someone who has it passing it on, and they should in in isolation anyway

Yep except the countless many who are asymptomatic and don't know they have it.

And the ones who had it as a kid, but just had a three months fully paid holiday, whilst we did all the graft...

Many have took the piss, that's for sure.
