Everyone seems different.
I had the sorest throat I can ever remember having, headache, shivers on the first night and then a strange stitch in my side. Extreme tiredness and brain fog.
Never lost my sense of smell or taste though.
Mrs Kiwi has the sore throat and headaches
Maybe we are sharing the symptoms and she got the short straw

They all stayed in their cabins in the mountains and ate jam with cheese and herring.

Hmm, my 82 year old Mum has just tested positive and is sounding quite rough. Not great news. Triple jabbed of course, but her booster was quite a while ago now and I understand efficacy drops quite rapidly. As long as it keeps her out of hospital…..

All the best for your mum G.

Fingers crossed for your mum, mate. From what you've said on here, she seems a tough cookie

Hope she’s OK, matey. Mine’s 84 and on her second heavy cold and hacking cough since Christmas. Insists it’s not Covid, knows better than the doctors and is more worried about the difficulties in purchasing ginger preserve for her morning toast.

Mine was the same.‘I don’t need to do anything do I?’ Err, yeah, you need to tell your doctor because you are in the prime vulnerable group. Have you not been listening these last two years? Good luck with your old dear too.

You forgot to mention kiddyfiddling, Brexit, gammon, pearl-clutching and Priti Patel. You’re getting sloppy.

Col knows about all of those things already.

Patel is a genuinely evil **** and I think we are all better off if she gets hit by a bus. I’d feel sorry for the bus.

All the best to your mum Stan, fingers crossed the vaccine does its business and holds off the worse.

Son in law tested positive this am too. Been looking after their kids all week...
