Not looking too bright according to all the stuff I was reading in the Times today. New variant much more transmissible, more hospitalisations amongst the unvaccinated who should be younger and fitter, vaccines less effective against it, although still can’t say if this leads to more hospitalisations and deaths for those vaccinated. Really need to stop droning on about 21 June, mainly the media now it has to be said, and really see what’s going on here.
Hopefully the jabs will keep those who have already had it relatively safe. This is getting very tiring.

While a vast majority of the british public have had their vaccinations, why are we in a worse place than we were this time last year on travel restictions? Just to add another classic, test & trace have just alerted one of my brothers to self isolate after our return from lanzarote! Over 2 weeks ago! Im yet to be alerted. Quite unbelievable. Well worth the billions.

6000 new cases today, India variant dominant and a mutation already here. Cases in secondary schools escalating but still PHE puttinh out messages suggesting things are all good. It's looking ridiculous to open up everything in less than 3 weeks.

Ive honestly got to the point where im thinking its all just bullshit. I cant be arsed with it anymore. Do away with the ****ing masks, vaccinate those who want it and **** those who dont. Apart from a trip to portugal now cancelled, my life is back to normal enough.
