    @nickkeca

The new jabs are so excellent that you can still catch the virus & transmit it,
you’ll still have to wear a mask & socially distance yourself,
you’ll still have to get tests,
you may not be able to fly,
your insurances may not cover vaxx injuries,
    & lockdown may be extended

ive just had my second jab.
When I read on previous posts about the autistic children, I know how "desperate" parents can get with their children knowingly that this condition stays with them for life. I remember at the place that I worked, a young girl with an American mother and UK father, putting their child on a plain food diet believing that removing food additives would help their child recover. (Their daughter was pretty amazing, when I saw her balance on a balance ball that you find in a gym and move the ball with her standing on it all around an area of the ground and was gob smacked). There was also another family that went away for a holiday and decided that they had to leave their child behind in the home as the travel would be too disruptive for their child. I don't have kids, but felt extremely fortunate to work with kids that challenged me in more ways than you can imagine (and my role was to make sure the site was safe for the kids). I also remember on one occasion a mother arriving with what i assumed were her son's 4 brothers only to find out later that they were help incase her child had a melt down. However ever year the school had a "Graduation Day" when the kids that were leaving to go an adult home were celebrated. I can remember speaking to a teacher about one specific child. All year he was teaching this pupil a nursery rhyme. Although physically this was a young adult, mentally they were of a 2 or 3 year old. The pupil played postman Pat on the piano and sang, it brought the house down. We always had roughly 60 to 70 kids, and when you add parents and carers this number swelled to 200 plus. I may not know much, but i know more than Wakefield about Autism and it is sadly a condition with no known cure (at present). I will add that as I am always the optimist.
Sadly the school and care home was purchased by investors and the Surrey site has been sold off for housing :-(

If restrictions are eased and everything goes back to normal on 21st June does anyone think uptake of the vaccines will start to drop? I worry that complacency will set and people will just think "Well we're all right now, it's over".

They can’t win... when they didn’t stop people travelling they got blamed for spreading the virus. When they do stop people travelling they get blamed for that. <doh> We do have some numpties in our MSM!

My other point is WTF is Michael Gove doing going to the Champions League final? He is supposed to be QPR. Do we have a Lily Allen at our club?

Now this is something you and I can agree with completely Ellers.

Wtf.... he should be a million miles from a Chelsea match.. His son is a Chelsea fan...oh dear...oh dear oh dear

Do you agree he should be sacked on a matter of principle now...

Sacking isn’t good enough. He needs to go to the Tower! Watching a Chelsea game is a crime in itself but he is in the government and doesn’t need to be travelling for a jolly then have to quarantine for 10 days.

I’m afraid we should insist he apologises to all fans for his appearance at the final at our next home match and from the centre of the pitch in a full QPR kit.

His son is or was a QPR fan. He used to sit in the lower loft and was also a matchday mascot about five or six years ago. Traitorous little git.

To paraphrase a well known AKUTR's headline relating to Phil Collins........

So Michael, exactly how long have you been lifelong Chelsea supporter?
