To give you some perspective Ossie, there have been 649 deaths in Norway total out of a population of 5.4m, and an incredible 92 in total in Thailand out of 66.5m (same as U.K.). In my area, Warwick, a nice, representative bit of Middle England, population 142,000, there have been 248 deaths from COVID since this **** started. May be one of the reasons we are a little perplexed by the reactions to tiny numbers of potentially vaccine related issues when we see the impact of the virus itself on a completely different scale.Norway was getting vaccine from the EU via Sweden. But it has been reported they are expecting a lot of the Johnson 1 dose vaccine starting April. Not sure if that is coming the same way or not.
They have just announced a new national tightening of restrictions until at least after Easter including a ban on serving alcohol in the whole country, and people returning from "unnecessary" travel abroad will have to go into a 14 day hotel quarantine even with a negative test after 3 days, as now. I guess like in the UK, there are parts of Norway that have seen next to no virus, or none at all.
