Shoplifting is down though.
On a serious note burglary is down but abuse and trolling are up. And more worrying, they are saying 50% of kids are getting anxiety and depression because of this lockdown. Problems in the future I think.

Coronavirus: keep working despite the risks, pregnant nurses and doctors told

Pregnant healthcare workers have accused NHS bosses of putting them and their babies at risk of becoming the “collateral damage” of the coronavirus outbreak by forcing them to keep working on the frontline.

While many expectant mothers who work for the NHS have been advised that they can work from home, hundreds of others in the first and second trimesters say they have been told they must keep coming into hospitals.

A study by the campaigns group Organise found that at least one pregnant member of staff at 43% of UK trusts had reported that they were not allowed to stay at home.

And before you jump in Ellers, I can confirm that this is true, as two of my wifes staff are facing this exact issue.

Test slots for key workers ran out within minutes again on the government’s website yesterday, and for those who did get tested it will take 25 days to get results, by which time, if they had the disease, they would either be recovered or (thankfully still extremely unlikely), dead.

And the test won’t tell them whether they have antibodies because that test still doesn’t exist apparently, or at least not in this country. And who cares anyway, because the WHO says there is no proof that anyone can get immunity after having the disease, even short term. Challenging my understanding of what an antibody is. Still, we can safely ignore the WHOs opinion, as they are really experts on mental health, especially quadrophenia. Bell boy!

Did I hear some bod correctly on the news last night who said don't hold your breath for a Covid-19 vaccine as they haven't managed it for the other coronaviruses in the past?
does anyone know if this is true?

I’m looking forward to the 100k bunting coming out on April 30th as another indication of how well we’re doing containing this.

I truly hope we do get there. I dont believe anyone wants this country or the government to fail, but they are woefully out of their depth in their handling of this, that is plain to see for even the most short sighted.

Raab seemed pretty confident that the figure will be reached... Although he didn't confirm the Boris figure of 250K a day after that

In all fairness to Boris, we all know he talks ****e at the best of times so is often taken with a pinch of salt. I do miss him, is he still the Prime minister?

big article about it in the Sunday Times, seems to be generating useful data, probably because it has little to do with the ****ing government.
