Was she a frontline medic who is involved in actually making these decisions on a daily basis?
I know for a fact that GPs are making clinical decisions not to send some patients to hospital, patients that they would have sent a couple of months ago. There might not be an official government policy but it’s happening, however upset some spokeswoman gets about it. I’m assuming that protocols have been changed.

As for the NHS spokeswomen she has said she is a Dr and knows a lot more about this than Warford about this. You cannot defend this rubbish. Maybe there are individual cases but he is making out that it is widespread. Utter tosh.
Either it’s happening or it’s not. If there are “individual cases” then it’s a lot of “individual cases” not making it to hospital for some reason. Not including those who don’t get admitted to hospital but manage to pull through too.

I know it’s hard to take Ellers, but think about it like this. An aged person with multiple health issues and COVID19 which has progressed beyond the initial cough and temperature into breathing difficulties has a pretty poor chance of survival. Half of all deaths are in the over 80 age group. More than half of people put on a ventilator die, the older the more likely to end this way. Their chances are not great. Decisions are being made as to how best to use hospital resources. I would not describe it as ‘left to rot’, but I’m sure it’s a relatively common practice. I’ve been told about it by three frontline workers who are doing it on a regular basis. Also not sending people with other conditions to hospital, again protocol lead. These are extreme times. I have a huge amount of sympathy for the people having to make these choices.

Not particularly.....just wondered if he would be willing to answer a genuine question put by someone else as he tends to ignore questions from anyone who doesn’t agree with him.......
Just when he becomes bearable or I even start to think he's misunderstood, he then shows every trait a typical WUM does. He's always had a free ride. I actually dont mind attempting to debate with him but that's next to impossible with his behaviour. I actually quite like being corrected on things if I'm proven to be wrong. Col makes me think about things from a different point of view, Goldy has corrected me numerous times and I've never always seen eye to eye with Turkish (the yorkshire racist) but I still respect his opinion. None of us ignore each other as what would be the bloody point of being on here! Ellers is a WUM, nothing more nothing less
