Just been out on a fruitless mission to buy eggs (just the half a dozen!) and had a look in a few boozers. Open, and very quiet, unlike last night when they were busy. Could be the rain, but hopefully the message is getting through. On top of that though there are so many people who just aren’t limiting their social interaction much if at all. While pubs are open (are they still open?) people will be boozing.
While I remain unfazed (on a personal level) by the virus, I get the strategy and am more than happy to try to avoid getting it in order to avoid inadvertently passing it on to someone who might end up in hospital. I was livid with a mate last night who texted me from a pub which he said was rammed on a 2 for 1 pizza night. He was out celebrating getting the all clear from his cardiologist after a heart attack six months ago. He’s one of my best mates but a complete ****wit for his own health and a selfish ****wit for others, and I told him so.

It reminds me of a disaster movie. I may need to buy a gun and a bow and arrow like in that ‘Hungry Games’ film.
