Between reading this thread I’ve been watching old YouTube vids of the likes of Leftfield, Orbital, Prodigy and Underworld......We all really need a good ****ing night out when this is over......Who’s up for it ??

Mate, if we're going down that route, I'm gonna need to get a flight sorted ASAP! I need either a good rave, or a mental mosh pit soon or I'm going to explode!

Junior is almost in tears daily - he's got tickets for Leeds festival this year, Rage are headline, and it's looking likely it'll be cancelled - he's heartbroken, they are the reason he's going!

His band are writing some pretty heavy stuff right now, so hoping their first gig back after the lockdown is going to be a bit special....

I'm not a fan of the civil service, so we're very much in agreement.

It's absolutely right to question what's going on and what mistakes are being made.

I do question whether it's down to the colour of the government and more likely a whole range of reasons for mistakes being made.

I also think the government has done quite well at times under huge pressure and that things have become noticebly worse since Boris disappeared.

If you believe that lockdown is correct Col, you must believe that the original laissez-faire approach - very much under Johnson - was wrong.

Im gutted for him.....seeing them when they played at Finsbury Park was definitely up there in my top 5 gigs.....just raw energy.

I've had a pretty poor response to my earlier question. Col kindly responded and that was appreciated. Ellers obviously has ignore on otherwise he would have treated me to that thorough list of positives and I was hoping jeff would chime in with something apart from 'likes'. Cant be too many who think the government are handling this too well me thinks.

could anyone have really predicted just how things would turn out? I just wonder how long the Chinese kept things covered up hoping that they could cure this? Also, I am finding it strangely difficult at the lack of deaths in China, when for example, UK, USA, Italy and Spain have had so many more. Plus no one speaks of the Muslim camps that China had set up to "cleanse" them.
Just found out an old work colleague and someone I "bounce ideas off" is currently in hospital with this virus.

Can’t be bothered Bob, if you lot have nothing better to do than spend nearly all day on here then good luck to you, I’ve got better things to do

I heard on the radio yesterday that Wuhan has issued new figures for their dead, and it's double the original number - closer to realistic figures, but probably still scaled down.

Jenrick has told local authorities to keep the parks open in the interest of public health. Hoorah, at last a sensible move from the government.

But what would have made them think they should be closed in the first place?

Will they now get them to take the yellow tape off the benches so that people can sit down? Will they tell the police that sunbathing is not a capital offence?

Let's have a bit more of this common sense.
