I have had the privilege of chatting to Luke a few times recently. He is totally down to earth and a thoroughly top man. He’s a great ambassador for the region and I wish him every success.

I recall a little known at the time Lloyd Honeygan going to the states and fighting the worlds best pound for pound boxer at the time, Don Curry, in his own back yard. Against all odds Honeygan knocked ten bells out of Curry to get a shock win which reverberated around the world. Dare to dream Luke.
That was class - remember it well.

I recall that scrap. Didn't Curry have problems making the weight? I'm sure he moved up in weight and won another title. Still Honeyghan was class that day and dominated from start to finish.
Eddie Hearn just been saying they are trying for it to be held at KCom end of August.
