One game doesn't decide who the better team is, the league table does and last time I looked we were higher than you. But if you're over the moon because you beat us and still look like relegation candidates then it says a lot about your club.

I was also going to say very well done. You've been after a quality defender for so long, so you really pushed the boat out and got a League 2/Conference ability defender in Ryan McGivern. You'd never have any chance of getting Beckford and you'd be better amalgamating with the Rovers if you want to be a big club.

I have not once said we are gonna win the league or we are not gonna get relagated, coz i am realistic and relagation is a possibility, but id rather have an awsome striker willing to help his team that have stuck by him through thick and thin and want to help, rather than having a load of players at the club who actually dont really wanna be there!

<laugh> 4 pages and 73 comments in and I've managed to resist posting on this thread - Well done for hanging onto Maynard, I believe it to be a mistake, however, I will certainly be proved wrong if he signs a contract extension, again with respect I don't think he will.

I've no beef with Bristol so good luck

none i think
hes a 2million pound striker and that is all
im delighted with beckford especially as it has wound the leeds fans up so well
