Just seen a shot on Sky of Oriol with hair from his Chelsea days.............please grow your hair back, lad. You looked almost nice looking....we have standards at this club.
They've had safe boxes ever since Nathan Dyer and Bradley Wright-Phillips were with us.So they have a little safe each...makes sense, just never considered it. Hope he keeps hair clippers in their.

So he has been given number 14.... Interesting
He was awful at Villa and didn't really play regularly at Chelsea. Do you not think it'd a bit strange to counter someone's argument by saying that you haven't seen someone at a club and then say you "suspect"??
He wasn't playing regularly, but then again, players like Remy and Cuardado don't play regularly for Chelsea, Also, his position was occupied by the best left back in the world at the time, so he could hardly an easy feat breaking in the team. But when he played, he showed he wasn't out of his depth at that level of football. I watched him in Chelsea and i can confirm that. I haven't watched him much in Villa, so I can tell how good or bad was he. I wasn't really trying to counter your argument, more trying to express suspicion about his awfulness in Villa about which I read all the time when Bertrand is mentioned. So you have watched him enough in Villa shirt that you can say with confidence that he was awful in Villa?

I can say with confidence he wasn't good and a completely different player to the one who played for us. That is what I am saying can happen with our latest signing.
My only point is that we shouldn't judge a player based on his performances in a different environment, we should see what happens. Someone posted with more than a hint that he wasn't all that in Germany; let's welcome him and give him a chance.
I only used Bertrand as an example of how that can be turn out good. I think we've run that now![]()
I suppose the greatest example of turning a "donkey," who loved his pies, into a great footballer, is Rickie Lambert.

Pelle keeps his hair wax in there.Naughty.
He has a label saying player essentials there....I wonder what a player calls essential.
Need a considerably bigger cupboard.Pelle keeps his hair wax in there.
