Hes not going to replace Ralls and Gunner at the moment. But the Championship is one hard slog. Everything looks great at the moment but I doubt Ralls and Gunner can keep this intensity of play over 46 games. Therefore in comes a quality player like Ledley. Hes obviously well liked and a charcater who will be great for the dressing room.

Ive a feeling though that Warnock has someone else in mind and Ledley may be 2nd choice.

I hope your feeling is right.

It's asking a lot for Gunner, Ralls & Loic to stay fit for 9 months.
Tomlin is not able to replace any of those.
Halford likewise.
 
Kennedy loaned to Pompey as well.

Still no takers for Gonzo and Pilks.

I'm told we are after Liam Feeney from Bolton - not the first time we have been linked with him.

Surprised Kennedys gone on loan again. Thought he was worth a place on the bench.

Doesn't anyone want Pilkington? Suppose if Noone & Kennedy have gone and K Harris is injured, we need some cover.

Two in one out - I hope Kennedy does well for Pompey

Cardiff City are set to sign Derby midfielder Craig Bryson on a season-long loan and Blackburn midfielder Liam Feeney on loan until January.

Bryson, 30, has made 244 appearances for Derby since joining from Kilmarnock in 2011.

But this season he has been restricted to four Championship appearances from the bench and one EFL Cup start.

Feeney, 30, joined League One side Blackburn in 2016 following spells with the likes of Bournemouth and Millwall.

Meanwhile, Cardiff winger Matthew Kennedy has joined Portsmouth on a season-long loan.
 
Bryson signing confirmed by City. There's our central midfield cover. I seem to recall we were keen on him a couple of years ago. But nothing yet on Feeney. Might be a bit late now.
 
WoL says Feeney signed in loan until January to give cover for the injured Harris and Patterson. Nothing from City yet.

No mention of Ledley although one report says he was having a medical earlier today. We shall see.

Bryson appears to be a good signing; NW says he's been high on his list for a while.

Unsure about Feeney. Said to be wing cover but he let the promising Kennedy go.

Plus we've still got Fred and Pilkington<whistle>

All in all a very decent window especially as we kept Zahore:emoticon-0148-yes:
 
Only just seen this this morning - out last night. Craig Bryson is a bloody brilliant signing!!

I've been banging on about him for a couple of years for our midfield general - couldn't be happier with that!

Given the games come thick and fast I can see Warnock rotating 3 from 4 so he keeps players fresh. Also on occasion changing formation and using tomlin.

Far more ballance to the squad but more numbers than the 21 - 22 Warnock was talking about.

Good work by Colin and his backroom staff.

Sorry Dai I have to disagree. It hasn't been a decent window. It's been unbelievable <laugh>!

Warnock has transformed our squad for a pittance. As Sparks says Bryson feels like a very clever bit of business.
Damour, NML, Hoilett, Bamba are top quality championship players. Patterson, Bryson, Feeney, Ward, all definitely make us a stronger squad.

We've still got Zohore <ok><ok>, if he stays fit we'll be very close to automatic.

Delighted we have signed both Stuart O'Keefe and Matthew Kennedy from you on loan !! We needed an experienced central midfielder desperately, and young Kennedy looks an exciting prospect. Hope they do well for us.
