One essential aspect IMO is to reclaim our hoops as one of our key identities that means establishing a design that looks like it's been around for years. No problem if it's not in their thinking but would of liked a reply at least

This is what they got as was asked to submit a quick rationale

Note it needs to be viewed in acrobat reader

Fantastic work . The best badge I have seen by a country mile , in all colours btw .

Staines R's

Good to see you back again and posting, fellow.

All the best to you and yours at Christmas.

You never know, we might meet up again at the Playoff Finals! <laugh>

None of them are a patch on DT's design, but if that's what the powers that be want to go with so be it......shame..... No 2 is the best of a bad lot IMO as it it kind of based on the cup final badge from 1982.......

Totally agree, I don't really care for any of the four designs offered - I wear my lapel pin with pride.

Would be great if the club would buy-in to that concept.

There was an informative Daily Mail article that looked at the evolution of football club badges in July 2013:

Ones which stick out as memorable and distinctive:
Arsenal - the gun
Liverpool - the Liver bird
Norwich - the canary
Spurs - the cock
WBA - the throstle, whatever that is (a starling? A thrush?)
West Ham - hammers

We have the Q and need to make more of it. Or adopt an animal and claim we've been associated with it forever. A meerkat perhaps, they're popular. Or a *****ose.

Swans for me a modern classic

You know it from a thousand paces

You will find a load of club having to rebrand I think simply because of the new approach required to design
svg files on the web allow perfect responsive design and scale in perfect ratio

Logos have to work at so many different sizes and formats nowadays

Example that any detail in the logo means it dissapears small or looks wrong when blown up

Ohh did I mention I had already thought of that ? Cocky old fart that I am
