Or perhaps people prefer to bury their head in the sand !
Maybe it takes kids to shake the conscience of the older generations .
Or maybe plenty don't give a flying one ??
 
I think the reason why people are critical is because it comes across as if no-one is doing anything and today's children are telling everyone something new - it's like reinventing the wheel- over the past ,100 years UK coal burn has fallen from almost 300 million tonnes a year to less than 10 million tonnes - cars are significantly cleaner and more efficient, energy usage is cleaner and more efficient, renewable energy has increased significantly over the past 30 years - none of what she is saying is new and claiming that her generation wants the older generation to sort it out is quite laughable - it's already happening and has been happening - unfortunately she's been fed a load of bullshit - the west can hardly tell China, India. Brazil. Indonesia etc that they cant develop because the additional energy they will be using will affect climate change - as such things will only get worse until such time that the problem of ever increasing worldwide population growth is addressed - maybe it would help if children today got out and played more rather than ****ing about playing video games and dicking about on their phones wasting significantly more electricity than the previous generations ever did

It'd be interesting to see the carbon footprint of today's kids compared to most of our youth.

How many of them will give up the lifts in their parents cars, ipads, xboxes PC's, air con, foreign holidays, out of season and fast foods etc etc? Then there's hand me downs...
