There’s an American on YouTube bought a Tesla for $25,000 but the battery had a fault and would not charge more than 50 miles, anyway Tesla wanted $25k for a new battery, luckily some guy he knew managed to repair it for a thousand dollars, anyone buying an out of warranty EV is running the risk of scrapping a quite new car because the battery costs more than the car is worth.

Tesla batteries are under warranty for 8 years, so can't have been that new a car, Steve. Plenty of ppl buy 8 year old petrol and diesel cars that have major problems to fix.

Maybe the name of this thread should be changed to 'What about India and China?'. Then no-one would feel the need to write anything on it, ever.

Or maybe to which dimbos think that this little country responsible for 1% of pollution shutting down and imposing crippling costs to try and attain net zero will make any difference whilst the world’s biggest polluters are opening scores of new coal fired power stations and building dozens of new airports? Of course you can add those wonderful Europeans in Germany which are reopening coal mines and extending opencast mining of lignite, the filthiest of all coals. But it is all down to us to save the world,

Yes, they're all looking on this board for the answers.
