It’ll be the commodity of the future, after our recent water shortages I’m looking at getting a storage tank + pumping equipment just to keep the bog up and runningNo life without it![]()
My next door neighbour had a massive underground water tank and pumping equipment fitted about 3 years ago and he swears by it. Amazing how quickly it can fill up, which shows just how much water we allow to just run away every time it rains. It’ll be the commodity of the future, after our recent water shortages I’m looking at getting a storage tank + pumping equipment just to keep the bog up and running![]()
I think it basically just depends how much space and depth you’ve got. From a vague memory my neighbour’s looked about 3 yards x 2 yards x 2 yards deep. So 12 cubic yards roughly ?We've got 5 water butts which are now full thanks to last nights rain, but it's amazing how quickly they get used up in the garden during a hot dry spell. How big are these underground water tanks?
