It’ll be the commodity of the future, after our recent water shortages I’m looking at getting a storage tank + pumping equipment just to keep the bog up and runningNo life without it
My next door neighbour had a massive underground water tank and pumping equipment fitted about 3 years ago and he swears by it. We've got 5 water butts which are now full thanks to last nights rain, but it's amazing how quickly they get used up in the garden during a hot dry spell. How big are these underground water tanks?
I think it basically just depends how much space and depth you’ve got. From a vague memory my neighbour’s looked about 3 yards x 2 yards x 2 yards deep. So 12 cubic yards roughly ?
I don’t think his wife liked it though, as she seemed to disappear not long after he had it installed
