That's it init, It's players speeding up their decision making that's the problem. You hear people saying S American player can't cope with the physicality, it's bollocks, it's the pace and the tendency to press the man instead of space. Footballer come in all shapes and sizes, they alway have and always will.

I mean Juninho looked like an 8 year old kid and the Premier League was much more physical back then. Catt like Midfielders were everywhere, now they're a dying breed.

Juninho is a great example.

Tell you who else is tiny.... Lionel Messi.

It's a myth that we have this all physical league anyway, teams are more competitive but it's not so much physicality as matching, German is tough in a similar way, but even the French, Spanish etc bar the top teams most games are a battle.

What's brilliant about the Premier League is the FA's marketing team.

2 more great shouts mate. It's simply not reality for me, so many of the very best, and when you are talking Scholes, Messi, Zola, you really are talking the very best, have been small lads.

Even playing pub football where it's brutal I've seen small lads bossing it, it's mentality, ability, adaptability. I don't have any doubt that Clasie, a Holland international who has captained a massive club in front of massive, often volatile crowds for years can't adapt to the league, mt only concern is that Keoman has a head start, he made him captain at Feyenoord I believe.

I've seen little lads playing for their regiments who would twat your **** off. <ok>

Fighting is another thing where people believe bigger is better. I've seen tiny lads knock **** out blokes double their size. Speed and explosiveness count for so much. Half these brick ****houses can't swing fast enough to hit em. Powerful but sluggish.

Agree mate half of these big lads take about 10 seconds to swing a punch.
A hard punch is all about technique not how strong you are!

Not even close to Scholes in his EPL days.

It's not a debate mate it's fact! :)

You're off your rocker mate! Scholes was definitely a top player but he was not the best. The Premier League will struggle to find someone to replicate what Ronnie did here. Before anyone says it, Hazard will not come close.
