Enjoy your retirement. I retired at xmas at 59.5, and totally suits me.
Am doing a day or two per week freelance, couple of days golf, one day walking, 2/3 days per week gym. Not enough days in the ****ing week.
It is great to leave a very stressful job which was actually becoming more intolerable as I got older. Plus not having the two hour commute per day.

You’re 59!! Proves that hanging around with Dennis isn’t good for your health

Retirement is brilliant. Lots of walking, plenty of gym a few afternoons on the piss. Beats standing at a machine all day long. Happy retirement to you
Good luck Clarky.
I wished I'd retired thirty years earlier!!!!! It's great. No no telling you what to do. I feel sorry for those who never planned and took out a retirement plan. Having to work to 66. Feck that.

i looked mid 50's even in my late 20's. i reckon i will never stop working even if its only one or two days a week. you just cant beat that friday feeling. even if its on a tuesday. during lockdown/isolation it all blurs into the same day.

work is like banging your head against a brick wall. its absolutely fantastic when you stop.
