Got side-tracked on a divisive, bloated issue (otherwise known as BBC management)

Personally, I think Clarkson is a talented bully (ask Ian Hislop about the bullying bit). I'd like to see him go 10 rounds with the Director-General - a plate of cold meat to the winner

It just adds weight to the argument about Chelsea being full of corporate and glory hunters if Clarkson admits to not being much of a footy fan. If he is a footy fan then his real team should be Doncaster rovers.

So ether way he is a typical Chelsea fan, corporate or glory...:azn:

Tonight Clarkson seemed to be coping well with the furore over his behaviour.
He was pictured drinking at a star-studded fundraising gala at the Roundhouse in Camden, North London.
But his girlfriend Phillipa Sage looked anxious as she left his West London penthouse this morning.

The staff member, who asked not to be named, revealed the rest of the BBC team had already left to start filming before Clarkson finally arrived for his meal. The power was left connected so he could have something hot.

The previous night’s alleged assault came after Clarkson had grown enraged after being offered a cold platter.

The kitchen had closed by the time he arrived with the other hosts, having kept a helicopter waiting for two hours in Surrey while they drank in a pub.

Oisin has told BBC chiefs he does not want Clarkson to be sacked but would encourage him to seek anger therapy.

Phillipa looks like she's been around the block a few times.

From 2011:-

Clarkson – whose nickname for tall Phillipa is Little Horse because of her height – gushed to readers about her good looks under the headline: “Lie back, leggy Phillipa, while I have some fun.”

Writing about being chauffeured in a Maserati sports car, Clarkson said: “There was space behind Nigel (our driver) for our green room director Phillipa, who’s so tall she’s actually measured in hands.”

Then Clarkson bragged how he and single mum Phillipa were drunk as they were driven around.

Meanwhile, devoted wife Frances – who is also Clarkson’s manager and mentor – was 11,000 miles away at their manor home in the Cotswolds.

WTF...

That's really sad. I tend usually not to watch this kind of footage when someone dies, how the hell did the ref let it go on while it looks very clear to me all is not good!
 
What also annoyed me was the moron who was filming Pedro with a smartphone at the back of the ambulance...
 
Papers say they've sacked him. No great surprise guess he shouldn't have slapped him.

Funnily the BBC wanted to make clear there gratitude to a great broadcaster. Sacking him does seems a strange way to show it.
 
The BBC hates cars and drivers they bought the F1 rights then sold them to Sky. Grrrr I'm not bitter, now I'm left with a choice of watching Chris Evens or putting my face in a blender.
