Lots of sarcasm above from our left wingers :emoticon-0100-smile

Latest from BBC management - Clarkson is like Saville. Highly defamatory. Couldn't make it up!

It seems the other two presenters downed tools in solidarity with Clarkson.

Presumably this was done by postal ballot.

I want to see them all back in one show:

Rolf Harris, Saville's body strapped to Max Clifton's back , The Hairy Cornflake, Jonathan King and Gary Glitter

In the set of Crystal Maze all running naked after Anne Widdecombe who is riding Clarkson's back

The final is a love orgy with Divina McCall

:emoticon-0100-smile Can't see that running in court, but agree it may be BBC management's best defence

They cant use the same defence they are denying Clarkson time and again. I'm beginning to think that this ill-advised comment re Savile will end up making the whole thing go away, because Clarkson's been denied the 'banter' defence and been hammered for making inappropriate comments for years - in fact leading to this point - and now the BBC, his accusers and judges, have done exactly the same thing, which weakens their stance immeasurably.

Left-leaning BBC executives making inappropriate comments and thus revealing that they harbour their own prejudices, eh?

    Who knew?

Clearly I've not been paying enough attention, seems like this has turned into the British equivalent of the Dreyfuss Affair. Interesting that Clarkson, obviously an idol to the non PC self made middle aged man about town, has chosen to spend his entire broadcast career in that pinko haven the BBC, rather than risk the competitive waters of commercial broadcasting. Apparently ITV may be interested, but not Sky, so pay cut on the horizon. That's if, of course, he's not literally crucified. It's nearly Easter, and he is obviously Christ-like in his suffering. Being a Chelsea supporter on top of everything.

He is nearly their ideal supporter: born Doncaster or somewhere like that, home Oxfordshire, very wealthy, supporter since 2010 or thereabouts. Casually and unwittingly racist. Perfect fit, rooted in the traditions of the club.

I was surprised when everyone started saying he supported a football team because he used to always joke about knowing nowt about the game.

    2010? That explains it!

What's all the left wing, right wing stuff?

He hit someone didn't he? Or at least on balance of probability. Or some other serious offence,

What would happen to such an employee at your place of work?

Not sure if 2010 is acurate, but he wrote about seeing his first game at Chelsea not too long ago, and now has become a true Blue to the core, as you do.

Knowing nowt about the game is no barrier to supporting a team though. I mean, just look at the stuff on here.........
