Adkins has twice now pretty much confirmed it's a **** contract offer, he said a while back that if he took the offer and did well he might get improved terms as Bowen did and again this week he hinted at it potentially leading to a decent contract later.

If I were Max and I really wanted to stay then I'd just wait it out. Come the end of the transfer window we'll be desperate for anybody and will probably offer a better contract.

If he leaves then it is truly shocking.

To the Allam's players are purely a commodity, they are tantamount to cattle being sold at the best price possible. Whether he is home grown or not, they are pounds notes nothing more nothing less.

That's funny, I saw Mr Lydon last night. I once did a Country Life butter advert with him, shared a car we did for that one. Darnbrough got an upgrade from a caravan to a chalet apparently, so he's staying an extra week as he's not needed back at work yet.

So the plan is to put all our trust in Kingsley next season.
With his injury record that's very risky.
But it's not about that it's about reducing the wage bill and squad numbers to the point where we will be up **** creek without a paddle.
Our squad numbers at the moment are unbelievable we have so few players.

I have no proof just guessing from the adkins interview if it was a decent offer why as it remained unsigned or could it be Clark agent trying to get the best deal for his client
