I think we need to keep hold of Clark. He may not be perfect but he'll get better. I seem to remember Harry M was always good for a big mistake or a penalty in the early days.

I'm pretty sure it was 'start of pre-season training' which is 25th / 26th? 2 weeks away.

If Lichaj is available for £400K and looks to have a good reputation -he was player of season for Forest the season before, surely other EFL teams will be looking at him as well. £400K for a quality right back isn't huge money for a 29 year old.

So, Clark establishes himself in the first team, makes the step up from Academy football and becomes a proven Championship player. Yet the deal on offer remains as it was at effectively the start of last season.
And no further contact to discuss?

If Nige doesn't rate him and is planning on bringing in better, then fair enough.
However, coming out of cloud cuckoo land for just one moment, it smacks of yet another shocking (but not surprising) example of the mis-management of our club.

All talent gets picked up early. They go to Holland, England, Denmark, etc. We've got some proper talent in the Swedish league, but it's pretty rare that they get picked for the national team. If two players have some similar skills, they'll pick the one playing in a foreign league.

This guy turned the Arsenal defence inside out (doesn't really prove anything I guess, but yeah) He's talented for sure. Didn't get picked tho, even if we lack some creativity up top

Which makes you wonder why we, and other clubs, aren't hovering them up early.
