Probably it was a fully furnished rental, so most of the damage could be to carpets, furniture and redecoration, which can mount up to a tidy sum.
The Future of Hull City ’s Max Clark remains unresolved as the player’s contract nears its completion. The 22-year-old, whose contract with the Tigders expires at the end of this month, is still to inform City if he will be taking up the option of a deal which remains unaltered since first being offered back in September of 2017. The Mail understands there has been no further contact from the club to Clark’s agent either to resolve the matter. Clark, who has attracted interest from a number of Championship teams including Millwall and Nottingham Forest, as well as former manager Leonid Slutsky’s Vitesse Arnhem, favours staying at his hometown side where he enjoyed a breakthrough campaign having established himself as a full-back. However, both parties remain at an impasse, with City seemingly unwilling to move on their original offer.
Reading between the lines I think it has more to do with the condition of the contract, incentivised payment for appearances.
Someone who claims to be his mate, says it's only a grand basic, with a few grand every time he plays, but he knows he's not going to be first choice.
Cheers guys, I'd not heard that. 1k is a poor one if it's true and the 8k demand of true is also a poor one... It's probably somewhere inbetween but at his age he needs to be first choice somewhere so for me that would be the deciding factor
' ......a deal which remains unaltered since first being offered back in September of 2017. The Mail understands there has been no further contact from the club to Clark’s agent either to resolve the matter'. So, Clark establishes himself in the first team, makes the step up from Academy football and becomes a proven Championship player. Yet the deal on offer remains as it was at effectively the start of last season. And no further contact to discuss? If Nige doesn't rate him and is planning on bringing in better, then fair enough. However, coming out of cloud cuckoo land for just one moment, it smacks of yet another shocking (but not surprising) example of the mis-management of our club.
He did OK, but I'd hardly call him a proven championship player just Yet, he made a fair few mistakes and got cought out alot. That aside he should be offered a better deal then September but he's not a proven consistent championship player yet
If that is true it’s disgusting. How much for Kingsley, who I don’t actually rate anyway. Here we have a lad who whatever your opinion of him can play a number of positions, seemingly rated enough by other clubs in our division, that we’d only need to offer a reasonable wage to retain. Not that we need any further confirmation, but our club is run by an utter ****wit.
What i find strange about the whole thing is, the offer of a new contract has been on the table since last september, every man and his dog know that knobhead isn't going to offer him a better one (his ego prevents that) several clubs reported to be interested in him, yet he's still here, beginning to wonder if all these reports are his agent playing career poker with jnr.
His agent will be doing one thing and one thing only, making sure he gets the best deal possible for him (the agent) and will do whatever he can to get it
AIK in Sweden have apparently called a press conference this afternoon to announce the signing of Seb Larsson. Expected departure.
Larsson will apparently get a £475k signing on fee and will earn £3,800 per week, making him the highest paid player in Sweden.
