Regardless of our current woes, it was always going to be tough to keep McG with Rangers’ interest.

He’s been great but at 36 and if we’re having to cut our touching-cloth accordingly, then maybe it’s mutually right for him to go. Especially, as we have a lot of contract as well as potential in the positional remainers.

Perhaps (and usual caveats apply) it will enable Adkins to strengthen elsewhere. But, unless Marshall is going, I’d rather us not replace McG with another GK.
No way we're signing another keeper, Marshall, Mannion and that one with the dodgy teeth.

I think if someone would match marshalls wages he'd happily leave. Been A nightmare for him here.
Maybe Cardiff will take him now they're PL.

Hope so.

Dodgy teeth? Is that Burton? For some reason, when you wrote that, the only head that popped into my mind was that bellend who won X Factor a few years ago

Honestly, folks whilst this will be met with the usual scorn from those on this board that relish being the only ones with valid info, the deal for Abel to Leeds is 90% squared away.

I’m not that arsed, even if he stays we won’t have a team capable of creating him a chance never mind a playoff challenge

You cannot blame the lad, Ehab stated he would not play the remaining games unless he signed the contract offered. Adkins thought putting him on the bench would be sufficient but it didn't appease boy wonder, hence why he did't play the last fixtures. Believe me it pi$$ed Abel off.

Did ehab really say that? That theory makes no sense at all
Why try to piss Abel off, we need him more than he needs us

To be fair would you really be surprised the petulance of the bloke is dumbfounded. Christ he'll do anything illogical if h thinks it's harming the intended victim even though it hinders the club
