I do kind of miss the **** though, his ability to turn a thread into pages of complete argumentative bollocks was something to behold.
There's a decent striker knocking around the Danish Superliga at the moment, playing for a relatively small Danish club called Hobro IK. Pål Alexander Kirkevold (1 cap for Norway) scored 22 league goals last season. He's being watched by some pretty big clubs in Germany and Holland and wouldn't cost an arm and a leg in terms of our budget. I know we've been stung before vis a vie Norweigan strikers, but he'd offer that 'something different' that we've been looking for and after the ****show our strikers put on against Newcastle, somebody like that has got to be worth a punt. Hobro are a bit ****, they finished 8th in the league last season but they punched well above their weight, they're the Danish equivalent of Burton Albion. They're currently bottom after 2 games, I can't imagine they'll move much.
It's not actually an article of theirs, they've just put it up online as part of a list of stories headed 'transfer gossip'.
With Sky reporting that Man Utd are in for big Harry is it possible we may have a bit of money heading our way to strengthen (or more likely fill the pockets of the Allams). I'm presuming even a ****wit like Ehab was wise enough to put in a sell on clause.
How do you know that? Like all countries, some come across and adapt, others don't. Helenius didn't work out at Villa, but Zanka is doing well at Bournemouth. Denmark did alright by all accounts at the World Cup. Kasper Dolberg is doing well for Ajax, they're no mugs, the Danish. Which is irrelevant, because as I said, Kirkevold is Norwegian.
Would love to see that 15% reinvested should it come to pass that he moves to Man Utd .. alas knowing the greedy pair in charge of us .. be lucky to see any of it invested
