He probably did play well, for one game, but with all due respect think I`ll listen to lads who watched west ham and have done for the past 30 odd seasons and seen him play live every game, seems they may be able to make a more reasoned judgement, specially given that they had up to last season been singing his praises.
I always liked him as a player, always reminded me very much of Ash. The concern that I have is that if he had anything left to give then you'd have thought that West Ham would have offered him a new deal, even a short term one.

I realise there's a big difference between the PL and the Championship but I just have my doubts about this one. Maybe he'd be a good option from the bench but whose place would he be taking?

Nolan isn't a DM - he is more of an attacking midfielder. Can't see where he fits with Diame/Maloney around

We've Meyler and Hayden who can sit - not sure we need him
He's may be looking at him just in case we lose a midfielder like Diame, if no one goes he might not bother

Nolan would be perfect for our dreadful hoofball, the big problem would be Jelavic looking likely to leave. It leaves us needing to recruit a big ****er to nod all our hoofs down for him to prod in.

Good. He was great for us in the premier league but can't be carrying players who think they're too good for this league.

Have you had the discussion with him? A few less injuries (**** happens in sport) and he would have been carrying us, two thirds of his team mates and your stupidity, last season. Not shocked, but disappointed at some on here who are giving him little respect.

I think any West Ham fan who claims to have been watching him live every game, for the past 30 seasons, is possibly prone to a little exaggeration.

Everyone's a 'football expert' - He's been good for West Ham whenever I have seen him. He'd be a more than decent acquisition in this division, that's for sure. Some West Ham fans I know wish they'd held onto him. They've supported them for 40 years home and away. It's easy to have a pissing contest. Kevin Nolan would be a great signing for us.

Of course it is, isn't that why everyone else spends so much time on here!

I thought it was just those times when you're having a brew, having a dump, when nobody's looking at work etc.

You've obviously sat lying in wait with your post ready refreshing the page until the time came. I don't think anybody else does that.
