I think with Chuba "Chubs" Akpom and Hernandez (maybe wanting to stay), Bruce may this year get a forward that will get into double figures.

Bruce still hasn't signed a single player who has scored double figures for us....

Not many managers have signed a striker for us that got into double figures. Not recently anyway, we've also been playing at much higher standard than the last time we had players hitting double figures.

Reactions: Kempton
Akpom will definitely get more than 10 goals. Hernandez will be streaky. He could perhaps also get to 10 but he'll have some periods of drought.

If we can get rid of Jela and get another striker we'll be ok with those 3.

Jelavic would definitely have scored 10+ if he remained injury free last season, in all honesty the same could be applied for Diame, he could of easily scored 10 after netting 4 in 4 games...

And Snodgrass!!!!

He has never been prolific, but with him in the team he could have added quite a few assists and 4/5 goals. Championship should give him the platform to start again and regain fitness/ability, not sure where he fits in with both left and right side covered, especially with the signing of Maloney who can play on both wings.

If we do happen to sell Elmo then we have a ready made replacement, might not have the stamina or pace of Elmo, but he gives us much better quality, better crosser of the ball and set pieces wise he's quality, probably better than Ryan Taylor. Or will Snoddy be converted into a central midfielder to accommodate him? It's a nice headache to have I suppose, a player of his quality and we struggle to fit him in to our team...
