They're seemingly a bunch of know nowt ****s. The clauses that have been inserted into contracts highlight the fact that the Allam's know very little, or at least are very naive about business, let alone ****ing football! They have left themselves in a position whereby, come September 2nd, that would see us struggle to maintain our place in the Championship.

Maybe that's what they want, recoup as much as they can get then **** off.

Promotion? Pfffft.

Don't tell us you've only just come to this conclusion ffs.
As I and others have said before, Allam admitted, when he bought the club, he knew nothing about football and he certainly knows a lot less now.

What ages? How olds this one? Where you meeting?

Remember to have a **** before you go out.
That is excellent advice - thank you.

I have a good feeling about this. What more could I ask for - a City win and a date with an attractive lady

To my knowledge that's 99.9% of release clauses I ever heard of.

What if they refuse it, we just don't sign them on the off chance we got relegated and someone came in for them on deadline day?

So instead of signing Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long to boost our survival bid, we sign Dele Adebola and Rowan Vine who will sign without these clauses?

How many release clauses with expiry dates have you heard of? Post some articles up, prove just how bad business this is.

Apparently 5 championship clubs are looking at Will Buckley, we should go in for him. Sunderland are willing to sell for £1 mill and Leeds are in the front running

I have tried to discuss this in the transfer thread but everything but transfers seems to be discussed in there.

Yes, one well documented instance, which I said in one of my posts is the only one I've ever heard of. How many more can you turn up?
Why should I need to turn up any more?
It's ridiculous not to include them in contracts. You seem to be saying that no player would come to a club if they wanted a release clause with an expiry date? Why wouldn't players just "demand" very low release clauses if they have that much power?

Because clubs wouldn't sign players with release clauses, if they couldn't at least get their money back.

I said what if. There's obviously a reason they're not commonplace. And the fact that there's only one that anyone knows about, and plenty that are active right through the contract, I find all this panty pissing ridiculous.

I seem to think I don't know better than people who hve far more experience and knowledge in running a football club, unlike you, who seems to know best about everything.

Why do players agree to a drop in wages after relegation if they have so much power?
You seem like you resort to childish insults as soon as you can't justify something.
Ehab is managing director and Steve Bruce is manager - so you seem to be saying that their actions should never be questioned because they have more experience than us.

Childish insults? What the **** are you on about you spanner magnet?

Steve Bruce and Ehab are certainly questionable, I was more making out the point that there is only one known case of a release clause expiring, where as every other one at every other club doesn't have an expiry date, yet you're banging this drum like its some schoolboy error and every one does it but we haven't, a bit like relegation clauses under our previous stewardship.

If it was so simple as you think, do you not think every club would do it for every player who demands a release clause? Rather than just one case ever.

Exactly my point. Go argue with somebody else.

Well said

What really pisses me off with regards to Huddlestone, Jelavic etc. is the fact that, ok they have had an alleged 50% reduction in wages, they still earn more in a week than the average fan does in a year.

The fact that they can't be arsed shows me the utter contempt in which they hold the fans. If that is case then the sooner they **** off the better. That goes for any other player with that attitude as well. No need for anybody to come back with the "But it's only a short career" because they earn in a year what the average fan earns in a lifetime.
