I saw a wolves fan tweet 'did anyone see Jelavic and Akpom square up' I thoght he was just over exaggerating the argument though
Chuba was happy to get around him to celebrate the goal, so it's not as if they hate each other. Plenty of players play well together by working off a tension or determination rather than kissy-friendly love-ins like Long and Jela.
while a lot of you seem to have seen the argument no one has commented on how Akpom actually put his arms round Jela following the cut back which he hit off the post some ten minutes after, arguments happen in footy, get on with it, all part of the leaning process.
I've got no problem with Jelavic going mental at Akpom, and I don't think Akpom did either. I think we could do with a few more Jelavic-type players putting rockets up everyone's arses.
Yep, people that actually give enough of a **** about the club and pull others up on a poor set of standards aren't the players we should kick to the curb.
I think Curtis was blamed for any defensive error down his side when, at times, he was left stranded by Robertson not getting back into position and Davies found himself out of position covering. That's not me criticising Robertson by any means - I just think Davies became a bit of a scapegoat.
A happy ending then , just what we all want at the end of the day. Strikers don't have to get on anyway, there's the obvious example everyone goes on about Sheringham and Cole, I don't think Payton and Swanny either got on really to bring it closer to home
I've backed McGregor in the past, but after today I'm finding a lot more difficult to, we'll also sell 2/3 players on the last day and although I don't think it'll be a panic buy as we've been chasing him all through the window, but we'll get Gray for £10M+ due to the last minute sales
Today's performance was ****e. With the players on show they should have blown Wolves away. I popped into a bar in Spain and could only endure about 15 minutes before returning to the beach. No chance of me paying hard earned cash this season unless the performances drastically improve.
Back this coming week to sort all this transfer nonsense out.
