Those suggesting we should sign Jota, he's been ruled out for 3-4 months. Brentford maybe more determined to keep hold of Gray now after losing even more goals from their team
But we already have Chuba, Jela, Aluko, Abel, we really don't need another striker.
One of those loves to get injured and two of those want to leave we really do need him

I'd rather hang on to a motivated Hernandez, but it's Allam's money,not mine, so it's up to him.
The big problem there is he couldn't get motivated last season in the worlds biggest football showpiece in front of the worlds cameras (premier league) so what hope is there of him being motivated in the championship when he is been kicked to death

Bit gutted at the thought of losing out on Gray.. Its not easy to find a striker who's young, English and proven at this level who wants to come to play for us.

Not sure why the price would be higher after today. We are bidding for him because we think he can score so the fact he scores is hardly going to up the price.
Bit OTT. We haven't lost out on him at all, negotiations are just taking time. Brady took ages, as did Ince, but I'd rather we did this to get the best deal instead of just throwing money at it.
If we're dicking around with Brentford on matching their price, surely they can up their price after rebutting our latest offer/current offer ? He's more of an asset to them now than 6 weeks ago. Theiy are 3rd, he's playing well. They may well add another million plus to the price, what have they got to lose ? Lots to gain if they keep him. We may have missed the boat here. Would be a shame, but we have our price.

There's definitely still discussions ongoing. All we've heard is that it's a stalemate, plus with the Airco hearing will have taken up time. I think we need to get rid of attacking options before we bring in though. I don't think the Allams will want to be stuck with Gray as well as the high earners.
We're in a hard position. We could also do with another good midfielder but we don't know what's happening with Jake and Diame now he's almost fit
We had the last offer rejected over a week ago, we haven't made another one, ergo there's no negotiating going on.
