Majority of his goals seem to come from running onto through balls and slotting passed the keeper when 1 on 1. What worries me is we don't really play like that. As seen on Saturday teams will sit really deep against us and our goals will more likely come from crosses into the box. I have no doubt he'd score 20+ in Brentfords team but I have doubts if he will in ours
Are you the one who told them we would look after Gray for them?

Hot off the sms from our kid.
Brentford striker to be unveiled tomorrow afternoon on a 3 year deal.
Undisclosed fee but believed to be in the region of 7m plus add ones for goals and promotion.

Hey Big Bro whot you mean hot off the press? I told you last night!

Karl Bigvern Brown

Brentford forum are talking as if it's a done deal. It's funny how now he's suddenly overrated and misses more then he scores. When yesterday it was he'll get 25-30 this season and they shouldn't even consider selling for less then £12m

Far to many spotty sorts are fickle as **** mate. You Watch some of our lot change the record if and when Gray starts scoring for fun. Still...it stimulates debate I suppose.

Having 2 players up front with pace to burn means opposition defences sit deeper and give us more room to play in. We needed a Gray style player in the premier league as it would have prevented teams crowding midfield & given Huddlestone the licence to play his game.

If he joins watch out for Dawson drilling a few passes for Gray to chase! I really think this signing will give us a new dimension.

Andre Gray seems to be the English version of Shane Long, misses more chances than he scores, but works his socks off and is definitely capable of scoring a reasonable amount of goals at this level.

Shane Long sold for £12.5m
Andre Gray bought for £9.0m
If he performs like Shane did for us we're onto a winner!
