Of course he'll be worth it but he's had one decent season in a decent league... I'm not even saying he's not worth it, I just feel like little Hull city always gets shafted on fees if we go for anyone with a half decent reputation.
If it's 7 +2 for promotion then that's much fairer and about right.

Brentford forum are talking as if it's a done deal. It's funny how now he's suddenly overrated and misses more then he scores. When yesterday it was he'll get 25-30 this season and they shouldn't even consider selling for less then £12m

Hopefully we'll play towards his strengths. Looking at his goals over the past couple of seasons, he seems to thrive on balls over the top and being sent through 1 on 1, usually calmly slotting past the keeper.

Bring in a quality no.10 to play behind him and he will score 20+ goals this season for us.

If we look at it as we've swapped him for chessy or Brady then it doesn't seam a bad deal! IF he can bag a few goals we've got a cracking squad! We've been punching above our wheight these last few years without a goal scorer.

The thing with forwards is they'll miss more than they score, therefore, if he does get 20 goals he'll have a **** load of attempts which will mean good attacking football. I hope noone gets on his back for the amount he'll miss as we don't want to have his head down and need him to keep attempting the shots to convert into goals

Edit: that sounded better in my head than written down, hope ou understand what I'm trying to get at

I think the point is we or Gray need to created a ****load of chances for him to get to 20. But I think we're capable in this league.

Gray will score goals if the service is right. If he does sign which looks likely I see him doing what Deano did for us the season the dream became reality. His fee is pale insignificance compared to the price of a KC pint these days although any silly bastard still paying for one will probably say its good value.

Bloody rubbish Mansfield.

So we ****ed about a week ago when it became clear they wanted £10.5m plus £2m addons for the pair, only to end up paying exactly that a week later. Ended up not signing Odubajo til the Friday and then Gray possibly in the next couple of days. Seems rather pointless but still it will be great if we can get Gray over the line.

Majority of his goals seem to come from running onto through balls and slotting passed the keeper when 1 on 1. What worries me is we don't really play like that. As seen on Saturday teams will sit really deep against us and our goals will more likely come from crosses into the box. I have no doubt he'd score 20+ in Brentfords team but I have doubts if he will in ours

I noticed that to. They acted the same way about Moses. He was the greatest ever and a PL club was going to come for him until he signed and then he was **** and they were happy to get rid of him.

Didn`t i see that he has been playing up front as a lone striker ? Given the performance or should i say lack of it from Jela at the weekend, then this may lead to a 4 -5 -1 formation
