During the Odebajo interview I heard these interesting words...
"I wanted to obviously leave Brentford Football Club, you know, to sign for a bigger club."
Surely if Moses and Gray are "Bros," those words will be close to Mr Gray's ears!

Looking at Grays 4 main pictures on twitter, they are brothers Odebajo is in all of them

Scrap that a message of good luck............. me being thick............

Hull withdraw interest in Brentford's Gray - for now

However, Tigers could come calling again for Bees striker.

Brentford striker Andre Gray’s proposed move to Hull appears to have fallen through - for now.

The Tigers failed with two initial bids for last season's Bees too scorer, but lodged an improved £6.5million offer with a further £2m in add-ons.

However, the Tigers have now pulled the plug on the deal and withdrawn it, and Gray looks like staying at Griffin Park for the time being.

Hull completed the £3.5m signing of Bees right-back Moses Odubajo earlier today, but after been sniffing around Gray for some time now.

Signed from Luton Town last summer, Gray bagged 17 goals in his debut season for the Bees, despite playing as a lone striker for much of the season.

Brentford have improved their striking options this summer, however, with the signings ofPhilipp Hofmann and Lasse Vibe .

In Elmo, Odubajo, Robertson and Clucas, Bruce has 4 players who can play either at fullback or on the wing. Suggests to me that he plans on playing exciting attacking football with constant overlapping. Not sure on Clucas but the other 3 are very pacey as well. Really looking forward to this season
Sorry but optimism is not permitted on this board. ;)

I'd save the 8 million on this Gray and use it to pay Jelavic and keep him fit for the season, one good season at this level, I smell Jay Simpson at 8 times the cost

You'd rather have an injury-prone full-back over one of our best and most consistent players? That's mad, mate. I can't remember the last time he missed a game and it's even more difficult to remember when he last had a bad game.

Sorry, but I think Elmo's overrated. And I wouldn't play him in a position he doesn't belong in.

Keep Jelly for a year, that would cost about 3 million in wages, and buy him an oxygen tent to live in, or a mini version for his knee. Thats 4 or 5 million saved on some London lad who might not want to be here anyway like I said, Jay Simpson Volume 2. The other lad seems well up for it at least.

Jelly's had a massive pay cut, it would actually only cost us about £1.5m.
