ODUBAJO IN LIMBO
The deal to bring Brentford's Moses Odubajo and Andre Gray to Hull City is becoming more complicated by the minute.
Hull have triggered the £3.5m release clause in Odubajo’s contract and the player has had his medical and agreed a three year contract.
However, the deal has yet to be complete as Hull want to do a double deal worth a combined £9m which would see Andre Gray go to the KC Stadium as well.
Meanwhile, just to add another angle to the story, an unnamed Premier League club has matched Odubajo's release clause

From Sky Sports Transfer Centre before anyone asks.

Strange how its an "unnamed premiership club", given the access journos have, also be interesting if the lad signed a pre contract agreement.

Smells like brentford trying to force our hand to me......

It's not all doom and gloom. At the start of last season we all (rightly in my opinion) assumed we had assembled a squad capable of a mid to lower mid table premier league finish. Obviously that massively blew up in our faces but the talent was there. Due to injuries and appalling tactics we went down. We've now decided to stick with Bruce, with pretty much the same players who got us relegated. Brady and Chester aside we have just the same squad who got us all excited last year (ok benArthur and gaston removed). The others who have left where not part of the premier league big picture so it's not a big loss. Taking a step back and looking in, if I was a fan of a rival I would be taking us very seriously. On paper we have the strongest starting 11 in this division by ****ing miles

If Odubajo's release clause was activated and he came here, medical and ready to sign he should also be allowed to talk to the other imaginary team too.
strange that he still wants to come here instead of the prem unless he wants to play with his mates here or has been guaranteed games.

Hull City are hopeful of completing a proposed double deal for Brentford duo Moses Odubajo and Andre Gray.

Odubajo completed a medical and agreed a three-year contract with the Tigers after they activated his £3.5m release clause.

But the transfer has yet to be finalised with Hull keen to complete a double signing, worth a combined £9m, which would see Gray join Odubajo at the KC Stadium.

Sky sources understand Brentford are yet to decide whether they will accept the offer for Gray, while it is also understood an unnamed Premier League club have matched Odubajo's release clause.

Midfielder Odubajo was a regular last season following his £1m move from Leyton Orient, helping Mark Warburton’s side secure fifth place in the Sky Bet Championship.

Forward Gray made the move to Griffin Park on the same day as Odubajo - June 27, 2014 - after joining from then-Conference champions Luton for £500,000.

In his debut campaign at Griffin Park, Gray scored 18 goals in 50 appearances.

It has been rejected though, and the mirror guy said that no other club has offered. Seems like Sky are a long way behind

The article on the Sky website has changed it's title twice.

First it was "Hull await news on double deal", then it was "Hull's double deal hits hitch" and now it's "Hull closing in on double deal for Brentford duo".

Maybe we haven't totally and utterly ****ed this up.

As a god's honest view as a fan from another club I don't think you have the strongest starting 11 in this division by ****ing miles. I'd have you down for play-offs currently.
