I'll put it this way. If a player was still anywhere near decent, clubs in a better league than the MLS would be after them.

We should put in an offer then. According to that logic, he'd become a more decent player.

Wingers are basically strikers with pace who prefer not to be front and centre where they'll cop the attention of the centre backs. E.g. Aluko, Ince, etc. They should still be expected to score, especially in a 4-3-3 sort of formation where they are well and truly up on the same line as the striker.

I didn't say that. Every team hopes its signings will be a success, but more than 50% aren't. We didn't sign Hernandez thinking he would be a failure.

Ok Maloney's move to Chicago Fire is exactly the same as Pirlo's move to New York City, and Maloney is better than Messi, and was just waiting for Brucey to call him to fly back to England, I get the point.
