Bruce wants to keep Hernandez
CITY manager Steve Bruce says he wants to keep Abel Hernandez and has dismissed the notion of him leaving the KC Stadium.
Despite serious interest from Italy in the striker, Bruce hopes the Uruguayan international is still a Tiger when the transfer window closes.
"We've had no bids for him just yet. There's all this nonsense that we're going to loan him but we don't have to do that at all," Bruce told the Mail.
"You've seen what he can do. He was the only player on the pitch who could score the goal he did (against Sheffield United). I hope the window closes and Abel is still here."
