Excellent news if true IMO. While we have had to pay up he looks like the fast aggressive young striker we have been lacking since Campbell and he knows how to take his chances. My only concern is that our style of play (slow MF buildups, playing the ball in from the wings) does not play to his strengths which require the quick pass through the middle with the ball on the ground. Last year at Brentford he had Pritchard to provide that service...who have we got...maybe Hudd if he plays higher up the park...or Dixon who delivered a great through ball to Hernandez for his goal on Sunday.

Anyhow I'm delighted we've got him (reportedly) and hope Bruce can adapt to use him properly. If he can score 20 for us we could be back in the Prem next year and his market price will have doubled.

Can't remember the last time a striker scored 20 for us at this level, Andy Payton perhaps?! Don't want to put a downer on the 20 goals target but we also went down that season regardless.A lot of pressure on the lad to hit the ground running too.

We are still lacking the "Pritchard" type player. Hopefully buying/loaning a creative midfielder is still on the agenda..

There's a few youngsters at prem clubs we should be looking at..

Lingard, Pereira or Powell - Man U
Boga - Chelsea
Williams - Palace

any of these would be great.

Duane Darby or possibly Windass but none others i can think of at Championship level since........... Only other forward to of even come close in recent years was Gary Alexander but that was in the 2nd division he scored them all before xmas aswell!
