Yea when he scored they all started saying his value just doubled. That's when the 8 mill started to get tossed around. There are 130 pages of just us being linked to him and I don't feel like figuring out if they always wanted 8 mill or if a few days back they wanted 5 mill or something and the 8 mill is more of a joke. They are to level headed so it's hard to tell if they are being serious about their valuation of him.
 
So I geuss Leeds are after Gray now as well according to them. They don't think though that he would pick them over us. I'm done reading their forum now unless someone has something specific they want me to read on it.

He'll come here, I don't think he's needed by any of the clubs who would be interested in him (Bournemouth, Watford, Swansea etc).

Apparently they can only sell to the highest bidder. So as long as we've bid the most after the 21 days he's ours

I reckon that bit is bollocks, I've never heard of a contract stipulation like it and it's one surefire way to piss the player off. I can see why it'd benefit them because it sparks a bidding war and they would potentially get more money, but it's a major pain in the arse for everybody else.

Hopefully he just signs with us. Maybe we could offer to buy out the clause (if it exists).

To be honest I cant see any club PL or otherwise putting up with this 21 day crap, it a try on by Brentford to screw as much money out of the deal as possible also I suspect that if he is PL bound then it would have happened by now I suspect.
