We're still preparing it. Ehab and Brucey are sniffing a few lines and rinsing some banging tunes building up the hype and getting in the zone ready to pick up the phone to say "Seven million pounds".

Brucey is about to roll up his sleeves and start rubbing his hands.
I can sense a fall out there Bob. Theres no way owt can get up Bruceys nose. If he starts having to smoke Crack instead then I'm all for Bruce Out. Slippery slope right there

BBC latest:

Further to the news we brought you about Hull triggering the £3.5m release clause for Brentford's Moses Odubajo (15:50 BST).

BBC Sport understands that Brentford have given the player permission to have a medical with their Championship rivals but any other interested clubs have three weeks to gazump Hull's offer thanks to a clause in the 22-year-old's contract.

one of the most strange's clauses I've heard of

Surely there is a way to complete this quicker than 3 weeks? What happens during the opening weeks of the season? Does he play and risk getting injured whilst helping out a rival?

Brentford are having a mass-clearout! They've accepted for Odubajo, Gray looks to be heading to pastures new... and another winger, Stuart Dallas, is heading to TWS!

I don't really understand the clause. So we can't sign him for three weeks, or if somebody bids more within the three weeks our bid is no longer accepted? Or can we sign him before anybody else makes a bid?

It's all a bit confusing and a very strange clause.

For the club to say they are 'confident a deal can be done' suggests to me that there is someway it can be done quicker. Otherwise they'd have no idea if they were going to be outbid at anytime.

Or maybe they think these players would take them to L1 and so they sell them to us lol.

A blatant attempt to screw as much money as possible for the lad, think this take transfer dealing to a new low.
