Agree about loans, although long term loans can't be cancelled except in January so it's the 93-day emergency ones where you get messed about, but haven't they stopped them anyway?

Anyway, what I actually started replying to say was that I don't think McGregor is that bad at all. I know he let in too many long shots last season, but at this level that's gonna be much less of a problem with less Lampards, Shelveys, Hazards, Silvas etc (there's a theme here), and his ability with closer range shots will be an asset.
Would love if McGregor had a great season , blame SB more than him for last season, he should have been pull from the team a lot early than he was.

Hey all - Just to put the records straight and dispel any issues

1. I am not Essex Gull
2. I am not Stuey or Stewart
3. I do not multi post
4. Our kid is not on here
5. Karl Brown is not known to me.

Best
Vernon

McGregor needs to concentrate on doing the basics well. I think he likes to give the impression of Mr Cool

Hull City are preparing a bid in the region of 7M for Brentford pair Andre Gray and Moses Odebajo [HASHTAG]#hcafc[/HASHTAG]

Preparing?

Makes it sound as if some suited geezer in a top hat and shades is sat counting £50 notes into a briefcase ready to drive down to Brentford in a rolls royce.

In reality Brucey or Ehab will pick up the phone - "Ayup pal, it's dickhead from Hull here, hows £7m for Andre and Moses?"

"**** off ****"

Just looking at one of the Brentford forums. They see us as being the "Fulham or Cardiff" of the season and that they offer a better route to the Premiership. It'll be interesting to see what the players think.

Historically relegated teams from the premiership struggle to bounce straight back. We could be staring into the abyss

Brentford did get to the play-offs last season.

The difference is Wigan and Fulham came down with little/no sellable assets. We are very similar to Norwich in those terms, plus our squad is a lot stronger than Fulham/Wigan's was.
