Whilst we're talking about rules, everyone is aware that the FA take a cut of ALL transfer fees? I think they pocket 10%. So these figures we're seeing for Brady, Chester and Ince, are cut down by the league, any clauses they might have in their contracts, so much being spread over a few years in small increments and probably a sizeable chunk in addons. Plus any tax payable, no idea how things like VAT and what not are worked in football, Ricardo? So we most definitely do not have £19m odd in the bank to piddle about with.

strange nobody made more of it. it's like you ignore anything good and focus only on the negative. was it ever thus with City fans. this loan means, along with the signing of Taylor, almost certainly that we will play 442 in the championship. and we have a very good first XI in that formation.

Or maybe - just maybe - it's already been thoroughly discussed in the appropriate thread.

You daft CSM.

[EDIT: this made marginally more sense when it was still in its own thread.]

Loans in the Championship Summary:

A club can name 5 subs on a team sheet (starting line up and subs) for any given league game.
A club can take 4 players from any one given club on loan (2 standard and 2 emergency).
A club can have a maximum of 8 players on loan at one time (4 under 23 and 4 over 23).

What's this? Forumaholics getting their Nerd rage on because someone posted something in the wrong place, or worse still, hadn't already memorised every ****ing post in the **** clutter-filled transfer thread? No - no I won't believe it.

I've no problem with his opening remark, or even his creation of a thread. It was his subsequent needy whine that no one was responding that ground my gears.
