Clucas scored 12 in 49 last season, primarily playing as a forward, but he also filled in at left back on occasion, though he's traditionally played in midfield.

Sounds like he can play almost anywhere.

They're rejected two bids for him already this window, one was believed to be from Wigan, the other either Reading or Cardiff, who were both apparently chasing him.

We always expected Chester and Brady to be the two chased.

Really hoped we hang on to at least one of them.

Bit Ironic we had our
Southampton in for Chester now, possible £10m bid, that's another one gone.
Chester is an excellent centre half but we should snap there hands off. He looked lacklustre at the end of the season and his passing is average at best. Obviously sad to see him leave and will miss a 'Chesteresque' tackle and him striding out with the ball.

As much as I don't want to lose either Brady or Chester , we have plenty of back up at cb and Robertson for lb all though lacking a bit of cover there.

That's 17 Million in the bank to add to the 4.5 we got for Ince - surely we can re-invest most of that in building up the squad

Before the Chesterfield friendly, Rick Skelton said we should put a bid in for Clucas.
